AdBlue System Diagnostics – Duns

AdBlue is also known as diesel exhaust fluid; a mixture consisting of de-ionised water and high-grade urea. AdBlue is automatically sprayed into a diesel vehicle’s exhaust system to reduce nitrous oxide (NOx) emissions.

Reducing emissions is required by law and regulations are becoming more strict. Adam Green Motors of Duns will check and top up AdBlue fluid levels as appropriate during a service. However, it is advisable to check the level yourself periodically, for example when you check other levels such as your screen wash or engine oil.
